Hey skippers,
Well, I haven't introduced myself yet! My name is Ginny Sayre and I am a
member of Jumping for Joy. I'm eighteen years old and have been rope
skipping with the team for eleven- years, although my Mom taught me how to
jump when I was four. I started this list on April 21, 1998, hoping to
connect rope skippers online.
Since many of the list members have heard this all before, I would like
to take this chance to ask those who have remained silent to speak up, unless
they really do want to remain anonymous. I also would like to encourage talk
about techniques and skills, especially the Americans...due to the "trick
list" Eric Herber is putting together. What also may be good is to discuss
how rope skipping should be judged, do to the small differences in required
elements in organizations on a world scale.
That's enough for now, I do tend to write a lot! I think that's enough
to get us going for a while.
