I was deeply saddened to hear of Jamie's death. I will always
remember her laugh, her bright smile, the way she hosted me and Felix
in 1985 in Germany, where we spent Christmas Leave. I was thinking
of her the other day when someone was talking about the damage a deer
can do to a car and how she gave us a blow-by-blow of how her car was
destroyed by a deer. She would always make us laugh and seemed such a
good match for Felix. As the father of a 2 year-old girl, I feel
particularly for Mercedes and Felix, and hope they are as resilient as
Jamie. If there is anything I can do, or if a visit to Atlanta to
catch up on old times would help, please call or write! Jamie, you
will be missed!
