My birth cert also says male, and that causes
problems for me because, living in the UK, that
certificate is regarded as "a statement of historical fact".
So even if, at some point in the future, that word
"male" turns out to be wrong... you can't change it, and
are saddled with it.<br><br>I agree: it's all in the
mindset. A little self-acceptance goes a long way...
though can be difficult, sometimes, when almost everyone
else doesn't share your viewpoint.
