Good suggestion. Loving the Self & taking care of the Self as best we can at any given time is always the best way to start or continue.
As for future goals, I don't seem to have any anymore at this time in my life. I did have many interests & some related goals several years ago. But after one disappointment after another in trying to pursue them, mainly illnesses or accidents intefering, I just finally quit having any expectations about pursuring goals or about the future in general.
Now I'm just taking life as it comes day to day. And taking care of whatever comes up day to day as well.
I do have some short term goals related to health such as making health appointments & just getting through the winter. But nothing much more than that related to any career pursuits, relationships, making friends, social life, etc. Not anymore anyway.
I see no point in setting myself up for yet another disappointment. There are never any guarantees in life anyway.

fulfilling our dreams and applying Love are inextricably linked - our
dreams are the things we'd love, after all, not just the things
we'd 'quite like!' Sometimes we can't get what we think we want because
we don't really want it! And the things we really want, we've shut out
of our awareness due to a belief that we don't deserve, or never get
what we ask for, etc. So these beliefs about ourselves are ultimately
what govern our lives - we get what we believe we deserve!
The exercise on changing and removing limiting beliefs is in Lesson 3
or 4 of the course; I'm still writing it, but please do sign up (for
