Hi, I've been reading a couple of really good books lately, the
Master Key System by Charles Haanel (quite widely available as a
download) and Mastering the Hidden Self, a book on Huna. This is the
rediscovered ancient Hawaiian wisdom (that's where the practise of
Ho'oponopono - love and forgiveness - comes from.) Here's a useful
quote from Mastering the Hidden Self, by Serge Kahil King.
"The manifesting of personal reality requires cooperation by the
three sevles of an individual, though obviously the conscious mind
many not be aware of what is going on. To gain a better
understanding of the process, let's describe it as a series of steps:
1. The conscious mind focuses attention on something (a thought,
object or event).
2. The subconscious mind treats the focus of attention as an event
and retains a memory of it.
3. The superconscious mind uses the memory as a pattern or blueprint
to create an equivalent physical experience.
Where there are no conflicting beliefs or doubts, the mere focus of
attention will stir the superconscious into action."
Of course, for most of us `trying' to manifest anything, there IS a
conflicting belief, or possibly several, that prevent what's
essentially a very natural process from happening. Which is where
the challenge lies! Changing your feelings about something means
you've changed the underlying beliefs. Instead of working out what
those beliefs are and then trying to change them, you can simply
practise applying love. By changing any other feeling to love
you've connected to the highest frequency and automatically allowed
your higher self to take charge of the work of manifesting in the
best possible way.
The easiest way to do this is to meditate/focus on your desired goal
and to pay close attention to your body as you do so. If there is
immediate resistance or anxiety, consciously disallow any tension in
your solar plexus by doing some slow and deep breathing. that will
enable you to move on to the next part of the process - hold your
attention steady and then feel love for anything connected to your
desire. Extend the love to every aspect you can think of - any
people involved, organisations, anything - indulge in nothing but
love. Bless everyone you can, and bless yourself for wanting this
desire; then relax and let it go.
To consciously generate love in connection with your desired result
is, I believe, the most powerful way of manifesting anything. It
creates energy and connects you to the experience of fulfillment
while ensuring every aspect of the event is controlled by the most
harmonious and compassionate intention possible. Feeling love for
something you're currently afraid of, or don't feel deserving of,
makes it possible to keep your attention focused with no tension or
resistance. Love overcomes by transforming stagnant energy -
vibrating it back to life. When you've succeeded at feeling love
while thinking about your desire – you've done it! You've set the
manifestation process in motion. Then just forget about it, and see
what happens…
