Re: [insectstings] Well, this su.....ck....s!

Robin,

Yep they are there, EVERYWHERE  all the time and it does su....ck!  I'll admit that my interest in bees and wasps grew a great deal after my attack.  Go figure ! I suppose the only thing we can really do is to be careful, carry our pens, keep a cell phone handy and go about life as before with much more attention to our new enemy. Of course those of us who have not reached maintenance level have to be much more careful. I will never forget my summer in ' lock down'.  No fun at all.  I have to admit that I am feeling ever so much better after reading of the success Polly had with her stings.  Sorry that it happened but it does seem that her therapy is working.  Hang in there and be happy again.

Okay.....prior to my yellow jacket attack....I was just 'kinda of'
interested in bee/wasps.

And I knew....down 'in the south'... yellow jackets and wasps...lived
'year around'.

AND....'We...down here.....seem to be having a very mild winter...
75 degrees yesterday,......80 degrees today.....Yohoo!!! It's
Feburary!!!
Like the middle of Feb!!!

There is a wasp nest above 'My outdoor' water faucet....I use it
everyday....I have to give my ducks fresh water everyday. I
just 'assumed' these wasps 'died' each year.........

but yesterday and today.............there 'they' are...............
a 'whole' bunch of them!!!!I took my 'porch' plants out yesterday,
too water, and enjoy some warm weather. I watered them, and for some
reason, I looked up........There, 'they' were.....

....and, I had been so happy.....just a few seconds before I looked
up!!!!

:(
:(:(
Robin
