Carolyn,

Thanks for the welcome! I agree it is very comforting there is the forum. I rock climb and repel too. So I am afraid about being stung again and being left "hanging" literally. All of my adventures will be on hold for now. Are you here in America too? Where do you climb? Well good luck with your treatment as well.

Thanks, Sarah

hey Sarah, so sorry to hear about your ordeal, my stings were in
July,  and I started my immuneotherapy  in September and am
only up to about 1/1000 of a sting, seems like it takes forever, but
the fear of going anaphylactic again is so much worse to me.  I
am such an outdoors person, my husband and I rock climb, so I
always have 4 epi's, benedryl and claritin or allegra with me,
hopefully once I reach maintainence I won't worry so much.
David's site and this forum is so helpful, there is just so little
information available about this anywhere.  I guess there are just
not that many of us that suffer like this, but it is a real comfort to
be able to share our concerns with each other.  Good luck to you!
all the best, Carolyn
