I am also new here and haven't been around too much, still trying to
accept this strange allergy!

I finally was tested by an allergist and am now on immunotherapy shots,
mixed vispids, 4th shot today. After the 3rd shot, I realized that the
day after each shot, I had intestinal difficulties, and felt "flu like"
also. I called the Allergist and was told this was a possible reaction
but that they hadn't heard of it before (may direct the Office to this
site). Well, today I had my 4th shot and approximately 3.5 hours after
the shot, I develop a mild systemic reaction. No red spot or swelling
at injection site but, I developed hives on my breasts and my back! I
took liquid antihistamine 50 mg. It did help and now I'm scared that
when I tell them, they may stop the treatment.

Reading the posts concerning this issue made me feel a LOT better as I
now know the flu like reactions were NOT a figment of my imagination!

Has anyone else had a systemic reaction after only 4 shots? I'm still
on the 3 ug/ml and today's shot was .4cc
