Hello all,
Our 6 yr old son is 11 weeks into therapy. I was wrong a month or so
ago when I guessed we were up to 1/100th or 1/50 of a maintenance dose
back then. We were actually still at about 1/1000th back then and are
now about 1/50 (1/25 of a maintenance dose coming up this week).
As I mentioned in a previous post, fear of the needles is no longer a
factor. The reactions are still very localized (though getting more
noticable) with swelling and redness at the injection sight which lasts
for about 1 hour.
So far so good.
Those of you with allergic children, how do you manage having your
children at camps and activities that go on throughout the summer?
