Re: [insectstings] Maintenace shot #36..........:)

Hi Robin ! I haven't had access to the computer much. (AGAIN)  Can't even begin to catch up.  Did see we had a new person a while back.  I hope they are doing better.  Sorry to hear you still have those bad reactions too.  I just got back from my #zillion shot and I still hate them.  Same as you swelling, pain, nausea, you know the ropes.  My Dr. told me last month to just make up my mind that I am going to have them for the rest of my life.........Yippeee !! I did try again calling other allergists that are closer to home for me and they all say NO, NOPE, NADDA about giving the shots.......Oh well again.

Ohio has had a super winter, weather wise.  The problem with that is that everybody is just waiting for the you know what to hit the fan.  Still bleak and colorless with no leaves on the trees but it beats having to find your car under a snow bank and then spend an hour shoveling it out.

Just wanted to say hi to you and to everybody.  Trying to take a peek at the posts and see what has been going on.

Enjoy your song birds and I do wish you a much better year this year.

Debbie

Hey Ya'll

Happy New Year!

and what a way to start it off! I recieved my #36 set of maintenace
shots tuesday, ( I get to go twice this month )

So I'm all happy and full of hope.......but alas. My doctor said I
would be getting the whole five years worth of maintenace.
Oh well...... I didn't really think, with the still painful and
reactive injections, that I would be able to stop at the three year
mark anyway.

With 'just a couple' of 'really' cold days here and there, we are
having a warm and wet winter. On the warm and sunny days, the honey
bees and paper wasps are flying around in their lazy daisy way, even
a few bumble bees....the fire ants bring up their queens, to enjoy
the sunshine and their mounds are very visible...some are quite huge!

Alot of my springtime songbirds have arrived.... Robin's greeting me
with their 'cheer'ing song and tons of gold finches fussing over
the sunflower seeds, within another month the purple martins will be
here!

Hope Ya'll have great Joy this Year, 2007
and no unfriendly buzzing woes
:)
Robin,
down in Louisiana,
where the fire ant mounds grow.
