Yes can confirm that miles west of Roz the wasps are still out here in Haslemere too. I went for a run today and there were lots around so epipens came with. My record for seeing a wasp in the winter outside was 2nd December but this year has been so warm that I think they'll be here for Christmas!
In this part of England, wasps come free and you don't have to buy them on E-Bay.

Alas not relaxed in deepest Sussex!! Just yesterday we had one in the kitchen and another buzzing around the back door.
