I have asthma, but I have been struggling with trying to find out why I
am so short of breath. I have mentioned infectious asthma to several
of my doctors and they don't know what I am talking about. I have just
been given two new inhalers to try and then she wants to check me for
allergies again. I was tested last year. I did neglect to ask the new
allgery asthma doctor if she ever heard of infectious asthma. My Ige
is only 300 and she didn't seem to think that was very bad. So why
then am I so short of breath walking up stairs and I can't lift my
little nieces and nephews without being very short of breath, I can't
carry them around either. I went to lift four plates off of my table
Christmas morning and my chest muscles wouldn't let me carry them and
it made it hard to breath like asthma does.
If you could shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it.
Also if you have a site address I could give my allergy asthma doctor
to maybe read it, it might be helpful. She is very interested in
trying to find out what is going on with me.
