Hi Kim,

It varies for everyone. For example, I've heard of people who started
feeling better after they completed the entire 12 week round and found
they could wean themselves off all medication in the following months.
Some people start weaning themselves off all medication during the
twelve week round. Everyone is different and it has nothing to do
with how long you had asthma or how severe your asthma was. For some
unexplained reason, you'll continue to improve for a year following
treatment. Perhaps the lungs need that time to heal, I don't know.
