Lisa,
I am a major problem from the over use of antibiotics. I have
not gone on the antibiotics because no doctor will listen to me to
check the infectious asthma out.
But a few words of wise to the wind if you will. You also need
acidophilis and sprinkle the poweder over food each meal. You also
may want to get some slippery elm, that helps with stomach issues
too. But I would take all this during the time you aren't on
antibiotics, so it allows you esaphogus and stomach to heal. You
might also want to try a regimen of echinecea/golden seal, but your
going to have to seek out someone knowledgable with herbs. I would
searach for a natro path doc, maybe one who was a medical doc but
turned to herbal use for healing. I can't stress enough what the
antibiotics can do to your body. Some people can handle them. Some
of us can't. Also, I was told on the healingwell site for lyme,
that I should get tested for lyme disease. I have sent for the
blood test kits and will get that checked out and if that doesn't
come up positive, which becareful not to see a regular doctor but
one who is educated and deals with mostly only lyme. you can get on
the healingwell site, lyme disease and ask Ticker, she has all the
info.
But if you do decide to do the antibiotics, please get the
acidophilis and use the probiotics and the slippery elm before you
go back on the antibiotics. I wish I could tell you me history with
antibiotics. I have suffered with acid reflux for almost twenty
years. I have asthma that long too. But with what I have been
reading about asthma, parasites are the main cause, so like lyme if
your on antibiotics long enough, it will kill bacteria and
parasites. so some research on lyme and sinus infections and
asthma.
