Hi there everyone. I hope you are all doing well.
I have seen my GP about infectious asthma and the possibilities of
taking zithro. I gave him all the handouts to look at. He took a
glace and told me he is willing to give it a try. However he wants to
first try me on more different meds to see if it helps.
That is a bit frustrating but I can be patient for a little med
tryout. Now his reasoning was what confused me. I had ended up in
hospital a few years ago for three weeks with a weird lung infection
that was behaving like pnuemonia but the x-rays were clear. My wbc
count was extremely high so they knew there was infection somewhere.
I was on IV antibiotics of all types, including zithro for those 3
weeks and sent home with oral antibiotics for another two weeks. My
GP doc says he has doubts about it being infectious asthma since all
those treatments in and out of hospital for five weeks would have
killed off any lingering bacteria.
It was alot af antibiotics, so could this be true? Should i still
attempt a run at this or do I look into something else now?
