Description
The CAST (Casting as an Alternative for Scoliosis Treatment) support group is an invaluable communication modality for families affected by progressive infantile scoliosis. Our online team plays an integral role for parents during the Early Treatment process. CAST is parent driven, and, as such, all information discussed and shared online is at the discretion of the members.
Our online etiquette encourages all active members to remain respectful and diplomatic when referring to both medical professionals/institutions and the current standard of care for Early Treatment. We are currently at a critical time for the development and facilitation of the Early Treatment Method from a global perspective. All partners are necessary for the success of Early Treatment with serial corrective plaster casts/jackets, including physicians, practitioners and parents. ISOP remains a strong advocate for parents and their privacy; however, ISOP cannot be held responsible for the individual opinions, views and comments of our members.
ISOP encourages all members to maintain our online netiquette. Discussions falling outside our online policy are not reflective of ISOP or our vision, and members not adhering to CAST Netiquette will be removed permanently from the group.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.
