Re: [immunologysupport] Re: OHSS + LINING + IMMUNE MEDS - HELP!

Jane,
Sorry to hear this as I'm sure u feel very uncomfortable. But I think all is not lost. Coasting might not be bad and u can recuperate while working on ur lining. I've read of other women w success even w ohss. U might just have to wait a bit before transfer. Hang in there.

Well i had another scan and blood test today and my E2 is 26000 and i have a total of 31 follicles! Been told to coast and have another blood test and scan tmw. I'm really not happy what has happened. I think its bad monitoring on the part of the clinic. especially as i posed the question of possible OHSS to them after the very first scan having had 18 follicles at that stage. I just don't know what to say or think. Feels like all is lost already. Plus they are talking about triggering if my e2 gets down to 15000 but i read on the net it should be 3000.

This IVF was my first with immune treatments and I used no estradiol, just the usual gonadotropins to stimulate follicles. My lining was 10+ with the thick triple layer. I never went past 9.5 and usually was in the 7.5-8.5 range for all my IUIs and IVFs. After the retrieval I've been on both Crinone (prog suppository) and 50mg Prog and E2V (estrogen) suppositories.
> I don't know if this helps but for me I know no estrogen prior to retrieval works better for lining. Plus I was on fish oil and Lovenox which I think helped to plump up and smooth out the lining.

I am doing a full blow immune cycle which as you can imagine is very costly ontop of the standard ivf fees. Anyway problem is that the clinic checked my estrogen levels and they have gone from 3700 to 12990 in 2 days. I gather this means i am at risk of OHSS and other than being told to come in for another scan i haven't been given any advice regarding this.

I don't understand this as my lining at this stage has always been around 9 before and in any event i thought that the more estrogen you had in your body the thicker your lining would get. I'm also on aspirin, clexane and fish oils for this cycle (not previously used) which i understand help the lining by increasing blood flow.
