RPL- chem. vs. later?   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #82703 of 98578 |
Hi,
I've had four losses: two chemical pregnancies (one at 5 wks. and one
just shy of 6 wks), and two later m/cs (9wks and 11 wks). Since I
have a three yr old child who was no problem conceiving, pregnancy,
etc. it's doubly frustrating trying to figure out what could be
causing these losses. It seems my doctor sees the fact that my body
has done this successfully before as proof it can do it again and he
does not treat the chemical pregnancies as any big deal since they are
so common, but I'm trying to determine the causes of my losses and
I've found very little info on RPL as an issue of secondary infertility.

Does anyone know how if it's relevant how these losses are categorized?
My heart doesn't know a difference, but I'm wondering if my body does.

Thanks,
Sam

A reprodutive immunologist (RI) may be able to answer this question best, but I feel a miscarriage is a miscarriage. It is just as real with or without seeing...
