Surviving grief is a lifelong journey and through It's My Heart, we hope that you will not only form relationships with other’s who’ve experienced this very difficult journey, but you’ll be able to honor your loved one through staying proactive in the CHD community. Each person does not grieve the same way but everyone is affected. Often times others think we should “get over” our loss or "time will heal", we know this is not true. This group is intended to keep their legacy alive while finding ways to cope and becoming comfortable with our "new normals". Through staying active and sharing, we can learn to live again.
