With my sons I can keep it from getting too red by rubbing it with the
"lollypops" 3m no sting wands. It is just a skin protectant. If you can't get
any post me an address privatley and I'll send you some of mine to try.

I am wondering about how "red" the area under the wafer can be without
alarm. I am also wondering about ways to keep the skin under the wafer
healthy. Also, any thoughts on how much weight can be lifted safely?
I have had the ileostomy since August '04. It is permanent. I get
along with it okay, just would like some input from fellow ileostomy
people. Thanks in advance for your help.
