My name is Deanna, and I have 7 children. 6 of those born
premature. My youngest one was born at 31 weeks because my
membranes ruptured early and they took him after 13 days. He
developed Necrotizing Enterocolitis shortly after he was born and we
almost lost him. He now has Short Bowel Syndrome. Necrotizing
Enterocolitis is a rare condition that basically eat away the bowels
and cause them to die. Premature babies are more apt to get NEC. I
am posting this link in the group for anybody who has a baby or has
had a baby or loved one that has developed NEC. Please help get the
word out so that there is some support for those of who need it.
This disease is a terrible thing.
