Good luck on the 13th, our thoughts will be your way. I've had mine for
about 40 yrs and yes you'll forget about it most of the time. Best of
everything. Larry

How long does it take your skin to get used to having a pouch stuck to
it?
My surgery isn't until the 13th, but my ostomy nurse gave me a pouch to
wear just to "get used to it". Well, I was fine for about 42 hours in
fact alot of time I forgot I had it on, until after I took a shower and
then it began to itch around the wafer. There doesn't appear to be any
rash. I imagine it's something I'll have to get used to.
Thanks,
Tim
