Hello All~~
My name is Rachl and I have had an Ileeostomy since last March.
Things were going ok untilll the past July when I had to have a
revision on my Stoma. Then the incision fell apart because my body
rejected the stiches. Leaving a big, open wound, fun fun. Anyways,
since then, I have had another revision and a bowel blockage. Now I
am experiencing alot of weeping from the wound(they cut me in the
same place for the third time), and no matter what i put on it, be it
duodern, gauze, aquacel, I can't win. The wound is soo close to the
stoma, so the wafer somewhat covers the wound. And this causes
leakage from the bag. Now I have extremely sore skin that have formed
blisters from the stomach acid, and am at a loss of what to do. I see
a surgeon, wound specialist and a Crihn's doc. Have any of you
experienced anything like this? I need some advice before I lose my
Mind! Well, thanks for listening, and maybe I'll hear from someone.
You can email me if you prefer, Have a good one~~~~~~~~~~~Rachel
