Hi Kelly,
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I'm taking a stab here, but my
feeling is that surgeons will not do "unnecessary" abdominal
surgeries while you are pregnant (by uncessary I mean for non-life
threatening conditions). Since your takedown can be postponed, I
would expect that your surgery would probably be put off until after
you have your baby.
As for being pregnant with an ileostomy, from what I understand it's
perfectly fine and you can have a normal pregnancy... as normal as it
came be for ostomates! *LOL*
I know a few people on this list have been pregnant with an ostomy or
are considering becoming pregnant. They should be able to give you
some first hand tips and advice.
Good luck, and keep us posted on your progress!
Sarah

finally got there on Monday. You could imagine our surprise when my
husband and I found out I was five weeks pregnant. Has anyone been
pregnant with an ileostomy? Is it wrong for me to assume the surgery
is off? Any chance we could reverse it in March during my C-Section?
