Hi Group,

Just wanted to give you all a quick intro. I had surgery January 27th
and had my colon removed. My rectum was left in place because the docs
were unsure as to whether I have UC or Crohn's. The Cleaveland Clinic
determined I have UC and I am scheduled to go in for a second surgery
April 14th to remove my rectum and create a j-pouch. Then after 6 weeks
I will have one more surgery to reverse the ileostomy. I joined this
group to read over the archives and to learn different and better ways
to take care of my stoma ( or my worm as my 4 year old calls it) until
it is reversed. Thanks!
