The Metabolic Conference that is held in Taunton, Massachusetts on March 18,
2000 is sponsored by the New England Connection for PKU and Allied Disorders.
Every other year they hold a metabolic conference incorporating metabolic
disorders such as Homocystinuria, MSUD, organic acidemias, PKU, urea cycle
disorders and Tyrosinemia.
OAA is planning break out sessions with physicians talking to parents on
specific organic acidemias. An agenda has not been set yet, but since we are
such a small organization we felt this is the only conference where parents
can attend and learn more about organic acidemias.
