Hi Marie,
Please feel free to pass this along to EVERYONE you know :) :) :)
You're invited to attend our first meeting as
BuffaloBirth,
an Advocacy Group devoted
to establishing and ensuring
women's rights in NY State
In NY state, our right to a healthy,
beautiful homebirth lies in the hand
of the medical professionals, not in
the mother's. It is every women's right to
choose her birth setting from the
full range of safe options in her
community, however, here in WNY
we have been deprived of our rights
to give birth to our children the way
we want.
California Legislation finds and declares
that: "Childbirth is a normal process of
the Human Body and not a disease. The
Midwifery model of care is an important
Option within the comprehensive health
care for women and their families and
should be a choice to be made available
to all women who are appropriate for
and interested in homebirth."
Held at East Aurora Wesleyan Church
364 Main & Maple St., East Aurora
Sat. March 3rd 6:30-8:30 pm
Treats and drinks served along with a
special gift & info packet
