Thanks for your continued interest!!  I will try  to do better about keeping you in the loop going forward!

As an update, the sponsors and relevant committee chairs have received a binder with supporting data, including the over 1800 (!) consumer signatures gathered thus far, and any letters of support from physicians, etc. received so far.  We have in-distric visits planned for midwives/consumers that live in the home districts of the relevant Senators & Asembly persons for the next couple of weeks.  We don't expect it to be brought to a vote this year, so we are just trying to gain as much traction as possible before the end of session.  The next step is to start over with renewed vigor in the fall, to try to get it passed next year.  We just have to stay on it!
