Christina, what area of Buffalo do you live in? I like my family doc
(in East Aurora) he's also our ped. He has been good at working
collaboratively with us when we didn't want to follow the 'norms'.
Simbapurr (sorry, don't know your name) I'm very sorry to hear about
your losses too. That must have been very difficult. Dr Sanfillipo
did my c-section with my son. She wasn't my primary doctor at that
practice, but I can't fault her at all. She did a fine job at the
surgery. However, for other reasons, I will not use that practice
again. Primarily because I believe my first pregnancy was mis-
managed, including a range of unneccessary interventions that in my
opinion ultimately led to me having to have a c-section in the first
place. Secondly, I do not think they would really be supportive of
VBAC either, based on my experience with them in that they seem to
prefer to practice 'defensive medicine'. I also had no personal
problem with the doctors in that practice. They all seem like very
nice people. I didn't care for Dr Santos, but I only met him once.
I'm still looking!
Alli

been through. I just wanted some insight as we have had a hard time
finding any doctor - ob or ped or gp - in Buffalo that treat you like
a human being and a partner in your health. It has been the most
trying time for us and disappointing since we like so many aspects of
Buffalo. It has truly been a shock to the system. So sorry for your
losses.
