The VBAC didn't happen. The day before she was born we decided to do a
c-section. She was not descending as the cord was wrapped around her
neck and shoulders a few times. The concern then was that I would
labor all day just delaying the inevitable c-section.

And I'm okay with it all. Actually, it went soooo much better than the
first section and it was like a party in the O.R. I know having the
midwives and preparing for a VBAC really helped me a lot in the end.
Elaine Clutterbuck was with me most of the time and kept those pesky
residents away and for that I'm eternally grateful :)

While I would still attempt a VBAC if we decide to have another child
(because recovery still sucks), I'm pleased with how well everything
went considering.
