You're reading the history of online time, there are
10 sites which mirror some article kroupa wrote in
1982 about getting super user on rsx11 a OS which has
been obsolete since at least 1984. People see his name
or handle on it and put it up because he wrote it, not
because a 12 year old Patrick writing about a dead OS
is that important for any other reason. The fuck the
telecom deceny act is from mindvox in 1993 I think,
all of this predates www. anything by a few years,
when mindvox started I think they were being sued a
lot because of the material they had on line, then the
supreme court decided that systems were selling access
not providing content and could not be held liable.
That was Sen. Leahy, when someone asked for a mindvox
position piece on the bill, out came "fuck the
telecommunications decency act"

The sites which have overviews of history are the
electronic frontier foundation, sri, Computer
Underground Digest, Future Culture, Cyberpunks and
Cypherpunks, which was the RSA encryption list. MIT's
AI labs have his writing under some topic "a new
psychological model for the development of AI" which
is "Voices in my Head" complete with LSD references.
Which is easy enough to find since there you have at
least 5 psychologists and AI people using it as part
of their thesis giving reasonable opinions not the
moon is full and I have to type 20 pages incoherent
crowd.

Use discretion in what you read, don't wade through
every web site that hits.

Reread the last sentence I wrote. Use some discretion
in what you read. If you keep clicking then you'll end
up hitting for half the internet, post-mindvox there
was evolution, the netherlands planet internet, 15
other companies which all link out. The real estate
still comes up as a dead link, but its brownfieldsites
which is some real estate conglomerate Bruce Fancher
is on the BOD for, which is his partner. Don't link
out from him or you'll spend another 2 months of
links.

To my understanding mindvox is not open until 2001,
they put up some placard which keeps changing and has
the chaos symbols moving around, the only time it
worked was once you clicked the arrows and it went to
some scans of them dripping blood or something over
hundreds of pages of legal notices from the 90's.

I am very happy I wrote anything because I received
replies and have enough information to do ibogaine in
the near future. I thikn all of these were from people
who read this list and don't post to it. Information
is out there, help is available which I think is
amazing. Some people who post here are probably more
disturbed then others, take what you can and forget
the rest. I don't mean to go all 12 step on you, but
it sounds like you'd get a lot out of a group where
you could discuss all the things youre feeling with
other people.

This list is like every other list I've ever read,
except maybe the content is higher, at the best I
think if content approaches 5% youre doing good, thats
not this list and these people, thats every list I've
ever read pople chat, have flame wars, once in a while
post something usefull.
