Did you note the following description?

Ibogaine (IBO) is an indole alkaloid from the West African shrub, Tabernanthe
iboga. It is structurally related to harmaline, and both these compounds are
rigid analogs of melatonin.

Anyone know what a "rigid analog" is? Does that mean the sidechain
with the acetyl group is flexible, until another atom is added to
complete the third ring (represented as a second six-sided ring to
the right of the five-sided ring?
