I am hoping someone can suggest a Dictionary of Ayurvedic terminology that provides English definitions, and in which the entries are romanized with diacritical marks (i.e., in IAST).
Thanks so much for your help!

I would like to know if English translations of any of the classical Ayurvedic texts such as Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita and Astanga Hrdayam are available in electronic format?
Dear Romila,
here some literature-titles which you probably may have researched anyway:
- Chopra, Ananda Samir 2008. Practicing Ayurveda in the Western World: A Case
Study from Germany. In: Dagmar Wujastyk and Frederick M. Smith (ed.), Modern and
Global Ayurveda. Pluralism and Paradigms. Albany: State University of New York
Press.
- Stollberg, Gunnar 2001. Asian Medical Concepts in Germany and the United
Kingdom: Sociological Reflections on the Shaping of Āyurveda in Western Europe.
Traditional South Asian Medicine 6: 1-9.
- Zysk, Kenneth Gregory 2001. ï€ New Age Ä€yurveda or What Happens to Indian
Medicine When it Comes to America. Traditional South Asian Medicine 6: 10-26.
Good luck for your work

Is there anyone in Hong Kong or nearby who may be interested in speaking on Asian medicine at a forum on medicine and the humanities? Do let me know. A colleague and I will be organizing a forum at the University of Hong Kong and are looking at different possibilities for speakers. Please send me your cv as soon as possible. Likely occurring in late January.
best,
Ivette
