First of all I send you the regards of Dr. C. Ramankutty, Arya Vaidya Sala,
Kottakal. Very recently I spend ten days at the AVS next to visiting Zandu
(Mumbai) and Arya Vaidya Pharmacy (Mumbai). The was probably my last visit
to India for collecting data for my PhD-thesis which is scheduled to be
completed at the beginning of 2001.
I am afraid something is wrong with my IASTAM-membership, because I didn't
receive the last two issues of the newsletter. Probably it is due to the
fact that I didn't pay my membership fee. The last time I paid was at the
IASTAM-conference in Nov. 1995 at the Wellcome institute. At that time I
paid for a period of three years. But some announcement about the fees I
read around 1998 must have confused me. To cut a long story short, I would
like to pay my fee. Would it be possible to have a three-years-membership
again? Can I also send the money to your account? (I remember I have read
this somewhere).
Anyway, I appreciate very much the work you and Waltraud invest in IASTAM.
I think it is important work.
