Re: [iastam] Article on Ayurvedic Ophthalmology Part 1

Dear Prof. Dr. Aashish Phadke,

Please do not send the full text of your article to the membership of the
IASTAM list. It is too much for many people's e-mail accounts. Also, it
is a breach of netiquette to send unsolicited documents to members.
(Please see and read the Yahoo terms governing the uses of Yahoo groups.)

The best way to share your work is to deposit a copy of your article on
the IASTAM website. You can certainly do that. Go to

http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/iastam/

and click "Files" on the left of the screen. Follow the prompts from
there.

Then, once the file is uploaded, you can inform the IASTAM list members
that it exists and can be consulted by anyone interested in netraroga. I
hope you find this satisfactory.

Please remember that your field, although it is very interesting, is a
specialist one. The IASTAM organisation is for all those interested in
all types of Asian medicine, so there are lots of people more interested
in, say, Chinese or Mongolian medicine, than in ayurveda. We ayurvedic
scholars should not press our materials on them without being requested.

Alternatively, if your paper is already available on your own website,
then by all means let the IASTAM members know the address and, once again,
they can consult it if they choose to do so.

Thank you for your interest in this list,

With best regards,

Dominik
