Idiopathic anaphylaxis (IA) is a rare and poorly understood disease. This group will offer support, information and understanding to the parents and caregivers of children with IA.
What is anaphylaxis? Anaphylaxis is the word used for serious and rapid allergic reactions, usually involving more than one part of the body, and which, if severe enough, can cause death.
People who have allergies or other diseases, like mastocytosis, can have anaphylaxis. In the case of people with IA, the cause of the attacks is unknown.
