iSPAN – International Sarcoma Patient Advocate Network
Many Foundations - One Unified Voice
Mission Statement - March 2008
iSPAN is comprised of international individuals and organizations that desire to work together to improve communication, share information and address legislative and regulatory matters affecting sarcoma patients, medical professionals, and researchers. iSPAN members complement and benefit each other through shared communication and networking. In return, iSPAN serves as a common voice for sarcoma advocacy utilizing our strengths and diversity.
This is a private moderated list, limited to key leaders of groups or foundations advocating collaboratively on sarcoma issues.
We use this forum to keep ourselves aware, educated and mobilized by sharing legislative alerts, research & patient resources. We also work together in task force committees on mutual goals and strategies, which will maximize our efforts & benefit us all.
Not Allowed: solicitation & fundraising for member's own private foundations.
