DECEMBER MEETING: THIS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 7

Please note that our regular monthly meeting is THIS FRIDAY, December
7, at our usual time and place, 7 PM at the South Snohomish County
PUD.

We are pleased to welcome Chrysta and Sanford Anderson as our
featured presenters. The Andersons spoke at the NGH National
Convention in August.

Their presentation is called "Building Inspired Relationships through
Hypnosis." This presentation focuses on the value of relationships of
all kinds -- family, friends, partners, business associates - for
increasing the possibilities for inspiration, satisfaction and joy
through living a purposeful life.

Chrysta and Sanford are Certified Instructors for the NGH and work as
Hypnotherapists and Life and Relationship Coaches with Art of Life
Coaching in Lacey, WA. They teach state of the art methods for the
quantum evolution of personal experience, specializing in work with
people relationships of all kinds. They are pioneering the
application of hypnosis to support the development and evolution of
strong, creative and joyful relationships.

We are honored that the Anderson's are willing to drive all the way
up from Lacey to share their wisdom and innovation with us! If you'd

BRING (OR EMAIL) YOUR FAVORITE SUGGESTIONS

In the holiday spirit of giving, we thought it would be valuable to
exchange some of our favorite suggestions.

Please write down a few of your favorites (perhaps an old stand-by,
one you find particularly valuable, or one that you wouldn't do a
session without). Bring them to the meeting, or email them to me at
Lauren@..., and we'll compile them into one file for
all of us to share.

Here's an example of one I often use - paraphrased because I never
use a script -
"Your mind is like a search engine, continueously scanning your
environment and bringing to your attention fresh, new ideas for how
you can nurture yourself in healthy ways."

Can you imagine how valuable a collection of all of our favorite
suggestions will be? Thank you for sharing yours this holiday season!

GRATITUDE FOR OUR 2007 NGHWA BOARD MEMBERS

This is the last month of service for some of our board members, and
we want to honor their contribution of time, energy, wisdom, and
dedication for 2007.

Cheryl Chamberlain has been our Secretary for several years, taking
meeting notes, and making sure we have water bottles and delicious
treats before the meeting! Thank you Cheryl!

Kent Ogletree has been our Event Coordinator, helping to plan our
events, and getting the information sent to the NGH headquarters so
that you get those nifty little postcards in the mail. Kent has also
been coordinating our book of success stories (still a work-in-
progress). Thank you Kent!

Cheryl and Kent will still be involved in chapter activities, but not
on the board next year.

Jackie Foskett was our 2006 President and our 2007 Vice President.
Her vision and attention to detail has been a tremendous contribution
to the board. We are extremely grateful that Jackie has stepped up to
take on the role of Event Coordinator for 2007. Thank you Jackie for
all of our dedication and service to our Chapter!

Ayhan Yavuz has been our Treasurer for 2007. We're grateful for his
time and energy to help keep our finances in order. He will be
transitioning to Vice President for 2008. Thank you Ayhan!

Welcome new board members Mary Lee LaBay and Kate Wells!

Mary Lee LaBay, Ph.D., has been involved as a leader in the
Hypnotherapy community in the Puget Sound area for many years. She is
also a past President of our chapter.

Kate Wells has served as leader for the Veteran's Appreciation Events
committee, and an active participant in NGHWA events for several
years.

We're grateful for Mary Lee and Kate's willingnes to lend their time
and talent to our board for 2008.

WORLD HYPNOTISM DAY ANNOUNCEMENTS

membership. They'll send you a password to access their free member
resources, which is filled with valuable information you can use to
plan, promote, and support your own WHD event.

NGHWA is sponsoring the Hypnotherapy Resource Forum at Evergreen
Hospital. I will be on the radio THIS TUESDAY, DECEMBER 4.

Here's how to tune in:

KKNW - 1150 AM - Tuesday December 4

* 10 AM - The Dr. Pat Show - I'll have just a 5-7 minute slot to
promote the Hypnotherapy Resource Forum.

* Noon - 1 PM - I will be the featured guest on The Gary Mantz Show.
I'll be promoting the Forum, World Hypnotism Day, plus many of my
other projects and classes.

SOUTH SOUND SATELLITE GROUP FORMING

Many of our members drive from all over Washington State to join us
at our meetings. There's quite a large group from the South Sound
area that would like to meet together to continue networking. If

AN INVITATION

To get in the holiday spirit, offer gratitude for our 2007 board
members, and welcome our 2008 board members, we invite any members
who plan to attend the meeting this week to join us next door at Kafe
Neo. We will be holding our regular board meeting over dinner at 5 PM
(Dutch treat, of course). If you'd like to join us, you're more than
welcome to.
