Hello NGHWA Members and Friends,

I hope you're all having a very successful beginning to 2007.
January is a busy month for many, and in case it has slipped your mind,
here's a friendly reminder that there's still just a bit of time left to
take advantage of the $10 January discount in NGHWA annual membership
dues. If you get your check postmarked by tomorrow, dues are only $50 -
but after tomorrow they will go up to $60 for the year.

Now, because we know everyone is so busy, we will EXTEND the $50 rate to
those who CONTACT US WITHIN 24 HOURS and let us know they will renew
BEFORE the February 9 meeting. You can send your membership information

Q: What are dues used for?
A: NGHWA is a non-profit, professional organization. We pay for the
rental of our monthly meeting space, a few light refreshments, and
occasional printing of meeting materials. All of the board member
positions are 100% volunteer.

Mark your calendar for FRIDAY FEBRUARY 9 at 7 PM. Come be inspired by
the one and only KATIE EVANS, Founder and CEO of the Living Lite Weight
Loss system, who will share a motivational presentation titled "THINKING
BIG ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS." We'll get to enjoy some wonderful hypnotic
trance experiences with Katie's expert guidance. Remember we will be in
the auditorium at the South Snohomish County PUD office on Highway 99.

WHAT CAN NGHWA DO FOR YOU?
Are you taking advantage of your NGHWA participation? Did you know that
members can have their business listed on the NGHWA website with contact
information, including a link from the NGHWA website to their
professional website? They can also send occasional announcements about
their classes and workshops for posting.

This will become increasingly valuable as NGHWA becomes more well known
in our community. We intend to maximize our public profile, positioning
NGHWA as a place where people can search for qualified practitioners in

HYPNOTHERAPY RESOURCE FORUM FEEDBACK
I'm pleased to share a letter from one of the attendees of the
Hypnotherapy Resource Forum. This letter was written to directly to
Evergreen Hospital and they shared it with me:

"Congratulations on the excellent Hypnotherapy Resource Forum you
sponsored on January 6. The event was lively and informative and
altogether impressive. Each speaker did a terrific job, and
complemented each other beautifully in the panel discussion.

"I have managed events professionally, so I know such smooth results
don't happen by accident! Participants were made to feel welcome
and valued and everyone seemed appreciative of how well the schedule was
organized.

"I especially want to commend Evergeen on hosting such a worthwhile
event – one of many I see in your community schedule. I had no
preconceived notions about the benefits of hypnotherapy, but I'm now
