Due to below-freezing temperatures, icy conditions, and many side-
roads remain unplowed, we have decided to cancel the January NGHWA
meeting for tomorrow night.

We know that this is one meeting that you particularly DO NOT want to
miss, but we are concerned about everyone's safety. Rest assured, we
will reschedule Keith's presentation for this spring.

In the meantime, you are invited to come see Keith as he presents an
Introduction and Overview to the winter/spring Hypnotherapy
Certification Course, on January 20th from 1:00 to 3:30 PM in
Woodinville.

Keith Livingston and I will be co-facilitating a Hypnotherapy
Certification Course this winter/spring, using Keith's "Learn
Hypnosis at Home" materials, Mary Lee LaBay's textbook "Hypnotherapy:
A Client-Centered Approach," and my "7 Steps of Self-Hypnosis" audio
CD.

You and your guests are invited to a Free Introduction on Saturday,
January 20, at which time you will get to take advantage of special
discounts and bonuses. The course will be held at the classroom space
in my office in Woodinville, near Redmond. The live training portion
will include 18 hours spread over 3 weekend days, beginning March 31
(with subsequent dates still to be determined, based on the
availability of attendees and instructors).

A note from the President:

I'd like to remind everyone that we have a very exciting year in
store for your NGHWA meetings. Our regular meetings now open with a
30 second "elevator speech" from members, allowing you to get to know
your colleagues and practice your presentation skills. We also
include a mini-hypnotic induction to help us apply the concepts we
teach. We have a fabulous line-up of presenters who offer hands-on
skills you can apply immediately in your practice - everything from
clinical techniques to business and marketing ideas. Most
importantly, in my opinion, is the opportunity to get to know your
colleagues and brainstorm ways to collaborate (an example of this is
the Hypnotherapy Resource Forum).

So think of NGHWA as a vehicle to help you get where you want to go.
As Woody Allen said, "80% of success is showing up." If there's
something you'd like to change, then show up and volunteer to run a
committee. We welcome your ideas and participation, whether large or
small. If you haven't been to a meeting in a while, please come and
meet the new board and see what the NGHWA can do for you!
