World Hypnotism Day Success: Hypnotherapy Resource Forum!
This past Saturday, 7 NGHWA members plus a member of Bastyr
University presented a variety of mini classes and an instructor
panel at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland. Several NGHWA members came
to volunteer and had Resource tables at the event. Approximately 140
people attended, and we received publicity on local radio stations
and newspapers. We offered a valuable service to the community,
promoting the positive benefits of hypnosis, which in turn, benefits
all hypnotherapists.
I'd like to thank everyone who participated in the event. Thanks to
NGHWA presenters Jackie Foskett, Mary Lee LaBay, Katie Evans, Kate
Wells, Jack Elias, Keith Livingston; to vendor Ayhan Yavuz; and to
volunteers Cheryl Chamberlain, Dave Thorson, Haley Thorson, Lisa
Nelson and Kathie Brodie.
There is so much we can do when we work together with a spirit of
cooperation, not competition!
Just imagine how many other ways we can collaborate to create amazing
results!

Announcing: Hypnotherapy Certification Course
Keith Livingston and I will be co-facilitating a Hypnotherapy
Certification Course this winter/spring, using Keith's "Learn
Hypnosis at Home" materials, Mary Lee LaBay's textbook "Hypnotherapy:
A Client-Centered Approach," and my "7 Steps of Self-Hypnosis" audio
CD.
You and your guests are invited to a Free Introduction on Saturday,
January 20 (see below for details), at which time you will get to
take advantage of special discounts and bonuses. The course will be
held at the classroom space in my office in Woodinville, near
Redmond. The live training portion will include 18 hours spread over
3 weekend days, beginning March 31 (with subsequent dates still to be
determined, based on the availability of attendees and instructors).
This is a solid foundational course, and can be used as continuing
education for those who have already had some training. Do you know
counselors, massage therapists, dental hygienists, aestheticians, or
people in other service industries (including sales)? This course can
offer additional ways they can enhance their career, so please feel
free to invite them. To register and get directions for the Free
Introduction, please call 425-881-7082.
And remember: NGHWA Members are eligible for a member-to-member
