Good-bye and Thank you!
I want to thank you all for the honor and privelege of serving as the
President of the National Guild of Hypnotists, Washington State Chapter
during
this past year. It has been a wonderful experience.
I have worked with an excellent Board.
As a team we helped increase membership,
get some truely great speakers for continuing education,
and formed a committee for World Hypnotism Day, among other things!
Laurie Finkelstein, the WHD committee chairperson, took that position
and ran with it
and thanks to her and Mary Lee LaBay, we will be hosting a first
Hypnotherapy Resource Forum
at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center in January.
Thank you, Laurie for all your energy, effort and project management
skills on this project.
And...Thank you, Mary Lee for all your expertise and support in making
this happen as well.
I want to give a special thank you to Evie Chan.
Evie has served for 2 years as Treasurer and has been the "rock" for
all of us
She has certainly been my right-hand person whom I could consult with at
anytime.
Thank you, Evie for all you have contributed.
I hope to continue to see you at the meetings!
John Gore, our VP and Cheryl Chamberlain, our secretary are extremely
generous souls and I thank you both for the presence of your spirits!
Ellany Kayce, our past Events' Coordinator, came onto the job a couple
of months
into the year, yet she embraced it fully and did such an excellent job
in finding speakers for us.
Unfortunately for us, she needed to leave the Board position before
the end of the year and she was greatly missed.
Luckily for us, Laurie Finkelstein filled in a few of the gaps! Thanks,
again, Laurie.
Lastly, I'd like to thank past president, Keith Livingston for all his
support during the year.
I could not have done so many of the technical aspects without him.
And, he was a great overall resource and very generous with his time
(and humor!).
Thanks, Keith.
So....
I leave serving as President on a very positive note.
I have had excellent support during this year. I truely enjoyed the
ride!
And, I have had the honor to get to know many of you and I appreciate
that completely. Thank you.
Please come and see us at the December meeting and into the New Year!
I'm staying on as VP next year, so I still get to be on the Board.
Sincerely,
Jackie Foskett, CH
