Local Hypnosis Success Stories
My wife, son and I recently moved up to Marysville. In my new
mailbox was a complimentary copy of the local newspaper. One word
on the front caught my eye - "hypnosis." I turned to the article
and found it featured none other than our good friend (and ex-
officio) Margarett Mae from White Horse Holistic Hypnotherapy! I
talked to Margarett and she said she'd managed to get that
article published in several places. Here's an excerpt...
"It (hypnosis) can be helpful in changing attitudes, increasing
self-confidence, learning enhancement, memory improvement,
stress, habit control, and countless other areas of personal
concerns. Self-hypnosis has proved successful in advancing
athletic skills and is used by Olympic contenders in many
nations."
Congratulations! More info on Margarett's practice can be found
here...

Our former president, Ron Stubbs landed a great stage hypnosis
gig at the Tulalip Casino. You can see him there tonight. Here's
a blurb...
"Ron Stubbs will be performing the Ron Stubbs OUTRAGEOUS comedy
hypnosis show at the Tulalip Casino, Canoes Cabaret in Tulalip on
Thursday, March 10, 8 pm. There is no cover charge for this show.
Ron's been playing to SRO crowds and getting rave reviews from
all over the US. Come on out, support your former Chapter
President, have a great time laughing and see one of the premier
stage hypnotists in the Northwest perform."
Ron's stage hypnosis website with his current schedule is

If you have a hypnosis success story, news item or an event to
announce, let me know and I'll put it in the newsletter (event
announcements limited to local chapter members).

Hypnosis in the News
Professor Touts Hypnosis As Legitimate Medicine
A USC professor spoke on the positive aspects of using hypnosis
in medicine Wednesday at the Andrus Gerontology Center. Hypnosis
is used in combination with traditional medical practices to
relieve acute or chronic pain related to stress, surgery or
headaches; suppress bad habits like smoking and weight loss; or
lift emotional concerns like phobias, anxiety and depression...

Hypnosis For Weight Loss
Elaine DuMais has been using hypnosis for a few months and says
it has changed her habits. While she used to crave chips and
french fries, now she wants to eat fruits and vegetables. "I feel
like I've turned a corner," she said. "Like I've headed into a
healthier way of eating at the very least..."
