Dear All,
I do hope you all are enjoying this beautiful day. Good news, I hear
it is going to last through Thanksgiving. On with your newsletter.
We had a great time at our Friday night meeting. I wish you all
could have been there to hear Maria Lujan de Peralta's mini seminar.
She had useful information that we could all use right away and we
had fun with her demos. A big thanks to Maria for sharing all of her
info and herself. You can reach Maria at, 206-368-8125.
You won't want to miss December 10th meeting with Roy Hunter on Ego
States.
C.Roy Hunter, M.S., FAPHP is a certified hypnotherapy instructor and
a presenter who has taught professionals on both coasts as well as
abroad, and is a regular contributor to the Journal Of Hypnotism. He
is a Fellow of the Association of Professional Hypnosis and
Psychotherapy, a member of the NGH and a charter member of OPEIU
Local #104. Roy started a full-time hypnotherapy practice in 1983,
and has been teaching professional hypnotherapy at Tacoma Community
College since 1987. In 1998 he served as an adjunct faculty member
at Bastyr University, teaching a graduate level class on hypnosis.
His current experience includes working with terminal cancer
patients for the Fanciscan Hospice in Yacoma, Washington. Roy was
personally trained by the late Charles Tebbetts and has written
several books on the subject, including The Art of Hypnosis, and The
Art of Hypnotherapy. His self-hypnosis book, Master the Power of
Self-Hypnosis (Sterling Publishing, 1998), is available in
bookstores and online. His latest book on parts therapy is due out
from Crown House Publishing in the spring of 2005.
Roy was inducted into the International Hypnosis Hall of Fame for
his written contributions to the hypnotherapy profession, and was
honored by the NGH with the Charles Tebbetts Award for spreading the
light of Hypnosis.
Roy has updated the work of the late Charles Tebbetts, and organized
his teachings into a step-by-step parts therapy prcess. Although
local for us, Roy has presented parts therapy workshops overseas as
well as around the USA...but he wants to have his first local 2 day
parts therapy workshop for us in January. Please let our Events
Coordinator know if you are interested in this workshop.

Congratulations to every one of you on your new positions. We trust
that you all will do your best to make the Washington State Chapter
successful. The members have spoken! Thanks to all of you who showed
up and shared in the voting.
I would like to thank the past officers for all of their hard work.
We made some big changes that they all stepped up to the plate and
helped make. If it were not for them I couldn't have made it.
Betsy Brown, Former Treasurer, thanks to Betsy for all of her good
ideas and dedication to the chapter. Betsy was the one that kept our
finances straight and in good standing. She also made sure our room
at the library was available for the upcoming year. Good luck Betsy
in your career with Doreen Virtue. You are awesome at your Angel
Readings. Which I have had the privilege of having.

Margarett Mae, Former Events Coordinator, thank you Margarett for
getting the chapter the best speakers in the northwest. Margarett
worked hard at getting us our speakers. It isn't the easiest job but
she made it seem easy. She spent countless hours on the phone and
computer to make our evenings special. Good luck Margarett in your
transition from Vision Quest where you are also dedicated in helping
people with your Hypnotherapy, Readings and Wedding Ceremonies.

Dena Marie, Former Secretary, thank you Dena for stepping up in the
middle of the year. How could I have remembered everything without
your notes? Dena is a good friend who wanted to help me out in any
way she could. All I had to do was ask and she was there. Who could
ask for more than that in a friend? Good luck Dena in the Little
Blue House where you are successful with your Hypnosis, Reiki, and
Crystal Readings.

Keith Livingston who put together our Chapters Web Site, nghwa.org.
Keith did a great job on our site. He also made it to all of our
officers meetings to help out. And he always had a joke or funny
story to tell. We were always laughing. Keith also had some of the
best ideas for our Chapter. That is how I know he will make the
perfect President. The meetings will be fun and informative.
Thanks to all of you for your dedication and support. I will truly
miss you all. You have shown us all your dedication not by monetary
rewards, (there is none), but by your sincerity, and visions you
have for our Chapter. I am honored to have worked with each and
every one of you.
I also want to thank Ron Stubbs and Jeanie Taylor for their work the
last 3 plus years and dedication in the past, and for making my
transition from Vice President to President a smooth one. We miss
Ron and Jeanie at our meetings and wish them much success. We will
be hearing about their success in the future I'm sure. Keep in touch!
Respectfully yours,
Beverly Bryant,
Former President of the Washington State
National Guild of Hypnotists
