November 12th 2004 meeting,

Hello All,

Beverly Bryant, President here, announcing some important, time-
sensitive reminders.

Envision yourself being able to speak in front of anyone. Imagine if
you could take YOUR hypnosis career to another level with Public
Speaking. That is what this Friday's meeting on November 12th is all
about.
Our special speaker, Maria Lujan de Peralta, will show you her
secret strategies to "Succeed in Public Speaking."
Speaking is an important method for communicating knowledge and
expressing ideas. Being able to verbally communicate effectively to
other individuals or to groups is essential in business, as well as
your personal life.
You will have the opportunity to learn simple and useful breathing
techniques, speech exercises and positive affirmations, to help you
develop not only your self-confidence as well as become a "Champion
Public Speaker". You don't want to miss this one.

Maria has many years as an instructor in many different subjects
from, music and language to the metaphysical arts. She has a BA in
music from the University of Washington, and is a Registered
Certified Hypnotherapist and Counselor. She has been teaching voice
instruction and language through the Experimental College (ASUW)
from the U of W, as well as Shoreline and Bremerton Community
Colleges. She appears internationally and locally on Television,
Radio and at Conventions.

Maria will be holding a Workshop on November 13th, ½ a day class
from 12-3:30pm. The charge is only $50 or $35 for members. The
workshop will include:
· Goals
· Easy techniques to learn in a few steps
· Breathing exercises
· Creating better voice projection, voice articulation
· Deliver with confidence
· Humility and Humor can give great results
· You do not have to control the behavior or your audience
· Resources
· Know your audience
· Prepare to Speak
· When you speak in public, nothing bad can happen to you

The workshop will be held at Vision Quest in Everett. Take advantage
of this one, I can't guarantee many more workshops in the future.

Our Friday December 10th meeting is going to be pretty special also.
Join us when our own Roy Hunter speaks to us on "Parts Therapy. "
Roy is certified by several hypnotherapy associations. He has been
in full-time hypnotherapy practice since 1983 and has been teaching
professional hypnotherapy at Tacoma Community College since 1987. He
was personally trained by the legendary late Charles Tebbetts and
has written a hypnosis text based on the Mentor's teaching. He has
written other books including one on self-hypnosis. Come listen to
1990's Hypnotic Voice of the Year, THE award from the International
Hypnosis Hall of Fame, among others.

Our January speaker will be Keith Livingston, a very dynamic
personality with humor. More on Keith later.

*At the end of our November meeting we will be passing on our
officers positions to our new officers. All of our members will want
to be there to vote them in.
