What a great crowd we had at the meeting this month. I feel we
really got to know what we were all about and what people want for
our chapter.
One of the things we got out of it was the round table itself.
Michelle Carmody thinks we should sit around the tables every month.
Sounds like a great idea so we will try it on and see how it works.
We also realized just how important networking is for each other.
Everyone contributed to the meeting in some way. And the snacks
weren't too bad either. We will probably have light refreshments at
all the future meetings.

In what direction are we headed?
· Clinical vs. Spiritual

We want to increase the membership of the Washington State NGH
· Advertising and Public Relations
· Order some of the NGH Collateral material
· Advertise to Health professionals – especially physical
therapists
Are there people that you know that may be interested in our
meetings? It's still only $5.00 to get in the door, and anyone can
come.

We had some ideas on Content – Classes and Speakers
· "Talk-Show" format
· A class on audio recording
· University/Technical Speakers
· Speakers on Children & Preteens
· Hypnobirthing

So I guess the elections at the November meeting won't be too
exciting since no one has a running mate. We will have fun anyway.

As you know our November 12th speaker is Maria Peralta.
If you like me have had trouble speaking in front of people this is
the meeting for you. Rounding out your career teaching or giving
seminars is a great way to reach out to people with Hypnotherapy.
You will have the opportunity to learn simple and useful breathing
techniques, speech exercises and positive affirmations to help you
develop your self-confidence as well as become a "Champion Public
Speaker".

She will be giving a workshop on Sat. November 13, from 12-3:30.
The cost is only $50.00, or $35.00 for members.

The goals in the class are:

Deliver with confidence
Humility and Humor can give great results
You do not have to control the behavior of your audience

Our December meeting will be Roy Hunter speaking on ego states. He
has even written a book on the subject. He is truly the expert. You
won't want to miss that one.
