Dear All,

I humbly accept the position of President of the Washington State
Chapter of the NGH. I do hope to do as good of a job as those before
me. Thank you Ron for the nice write up you did in saying goodbye.
We will miss you and Jeanie. Please come by often.

All officers' positions are open every year. In October we nominate,
and in November we will vote. December the new officers start.

We have had a couple of officers meetings and have found it
necessary to make some changes. We hope you will find them
satisfactory.

We found it necessary to change the chapter membership dues to
$50.00 a year. That is only $4.17 a month to be a chapter member.
Some people are grand fathered in until January 2005. Those people
are; L.Susan Einhorn, Wendy Burk, Arthur Levine, Alexandra Hepburn,
James R. Berdle, Kevin Walder, Steven D. Tracy, Glen Kowalski and
Arisa Houston. You will be mailed your membership card. Everyone
else is expired. Membership dues will be due on January 1st of every
year. We will make all other months retroactive. So if you sign up
at the July 9th meeting, you will only pay $25.00 to finish out the
year. And in August it will be $20.83 and so on. You must be a
member of the NGH to join the local chapter.
This is the cool part:

1) When you sign up, you will be sent a membership card, it will be
business card size to fit in your wallet. AND IT WILL GET YOU IN TO
ALL OF THE MEETINGS. This is a 16% discount a year. No more having
to hassle with $5.00 every time. Just show your card at the door and
you are in.
2) 15% discount with certain Hypnotherapists to their classes,
workshops, and seminars. We will have a list of them shortly. And if
you want to be on the list let us know so we can add your name.
3) We will give you a link from our web site to yours. This will
increase your ranking on search engines. Or we will put your name,
your specialty, and your phone on the web site if you would like.
You let us know.
4) Only members will be allowed to announce their classes on our web
site and at our meetings.
5) Certificate of Membership suitable for framing.
6) Members can actively vote for the officers of their choice every
Nov.
7) Local chapter members will be the advisory board for the officers
of the local chapter. Yes, we want the meetings to go as you would
like them.

Keith Livingston put it up for us and is going to be handling all of
it. We decided to add a Webmaster as one of our officers so I would
like to announce Keith as our newest officer. As if we didn't have
enough new ones already huh? Bev, Dena, and now Keith.

We will have questionnaires at all of our meetings and the comments
from the questionnaires from the month before printed up. Please let
us know how we are doing and what we can do to improve. All
questionnaires are confidential and you don't have to sign your
name.

Our next meeting will be July 9, 2004, 7 -9pm, at the Mountlake
Terrace

July's speakers are Kate Bowditch and Vernon McCoy. Their
presentation will be on Alpha Reiki.

What is Alpha-Reiki?? Alpha-Reiki is the union of two powerful
healing
modalities: Hypnosis and Reiki. This union liberates the
subconscious mind
to fully engage in the rapid release of blocks to Reiki Energy
flow. Many
Hypnotists are also Reiki Healers. Many Reiki Healers are practiced
in
basic hypnotic relaxation and opening techniques for the inner
mind. This
meeting is a lecture and a demo, drawing from a volunteer in the
audience
to participate in the deep release of old blocks, and the
experiencing of
Reiki Energy to a truly exciting, new degree.

Kate and Vernon will be offering a class in Alpha Reiki Techniques
in
August, open only to registered counselors who are also certified
hypnotherapists, who are also at least a Level II Reiki Healer.
