Hello everyone.
I received this encouraging email from Charles Curtis who is a long
time hypnotherapist and studied part of my distance learning program:
Jack,
I wrote a book-length paper analyzing the relationship
between therapy and NewThought metaphysics,
especially between hypnotherapy and Science of Mind
(the fields in which I am most heavily involved).
That research paper has proven to be a valuable
resource, as I have quoted it endlessly in my work as
I have encountered various metaphysical folks looking
to understand more about the therapy process.
Your book "Finding True Magic" was a major source of
information for that paper. I really love that book,
I've read it over and over, as it reminds me of the
value of having one grounded foot in each world
(therapy and metaphysics).
and I was sitting and rereading my paper the other
day, and thinking how much I valued the meditative way
of looking at life, and thinking about how many, many
people I had talked to about "finding the meaning of
life in the movement of a fly's wings",(quote,Finding True Magic) and the
thought came to me that you would probably appreciate
having a copy of the paper, so I'm sending it along.
keep up doing your great work!
Charlie Curtis, BCH
I was very flattered to find that he named me his 3rd main source
after Ormond McGill(the oldest living, and revered, hypnotist) and
John Hughes(co-founder of the NGH 50 years ago!). Charles has given me
permission to give a copy of his paper to anyone of you. Let me know
if you would like it.
Peace,
Jack Elias
