Kathy Wilson's story in her words.


I was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer that had spread to my
bones and liver 3 years ago. I had lost 75% of my left femur and was
really in trouble.........and given 2 months to live.

As I sat in my backyard trying to take it all in........accepting the
"truth" of the diagnoses..........I thought to myself, "You tell your
clients to not be a victim, take back their power and create the life
they want! What are you doing? Stand up and take control!"

It's been a long battle.........but an amazing journey. In simply
making up my mind that I am the creator of my life ............and
that I didn't have to pay "homage" to the doctors thoughts,
etc...........I have done the "impossible". I have regrown
bone.......am out of the bed and wheel chair........and live a normal
life. EVEN........after I've been diagnosed with something WORSE than
the cancer.

The drugs they gave me to help my
bones......(bisphosphanates......like Fosamax) created a nightmare
condition called osteonecrosis of the jaw........DEATH OF MY JAWBONE.
I was told there is no medical help for this nightmare.........that
my jaw and other bones of the skeleton would rot away..........the
pain would be awful.........and I would eventually lose my jaw.

Again..........the temptation is to believe the authorities. But
again, my training kicked in, I first changed my belief about the
impossibility of healing.........and then researched and found help
with a homeopath and other devices. But it started FIRST with a
decision that this is MY life.....and the belief that I have the right
to create something wonderful......regardless of what "they"say.

I think the part that we play as hypnotists includes helping our
patients to believe in their own power to heal..........and create a
powerful life. The best way we can do that.......is to create the
same in our own life.
