Hypnotic Language Pattern Drills   Message List

Hi Guys

I have a query that I would love to get your feedback on.

Whilst teaching a hypnosis course for the EasyStop group (a group of
weight loss and stop smoking clinics) over the weekend, I had a very
interesting idea and I would love to run it past you now for your
thoughts.

You may remember the old ZEBU hypnotic language pattern cards that
Anglo American used to sell. These cards were normal playing cards,
but they also had hypnotic language patterns printed on their faces.
You could play games like "hypnotic snap" in which you would drill
your ability to flow smoothly and naturally with hypnotic language.

I remember when I was first learning hypnosis how much these cards
helped me to develop my own style and get confidence with flowing
with the language and do trancework.

Unfortunately, they have been unavailable for some time. I would
like to create my own deck now but also go one better, and would
love to hear your thoughts on it.

I want to get a set of inspirational cards printed up under
the "Street Hypnosis" brand. The language will essentially be the
same as that printed in the back of my Deep Trance Training Manual.
These will be printed on high quality playing cards with colourful
design on the back and (probably) an inspirational picture on the
front together with the hypnotic text.

These card decks will be accompanied by a CD teaching people how to
use them (currently the Conversational Hypnosis Intro CD which
contains the 10 Sec hypnotist, Sensory Rich Descriptions, Language
Flow Drills, Meaningful Transitions, 4 Stage Hypnotic Protocol,
Hypnotic Circle, Hypnotic Principles and the Qualities of a Great
Hypnotist Inductions).

I may also record a special second CD with additional exercises
(pace & lead, internalising focus, conscious/unconscious
dissociation, hypnotic voice anchors, trance ratification, embedded
commands drills 1 (pauses), 2 (eye contact) and 3 (tonal shift), the
right Attitude and exercises on How to test Embedded Commands!)

It will be very expensive to do a print run on a set of cards. I'd
have to sell 100 sets just to break even!

So here are my questions to you:

1. Do you find the idea interesting/attractive?
2. Do you think it better to have:
1. 1 Set of Cards + 1 CD
2. 1 Set of Cards + 2 CDs

I would be selling the sets at £24.99 for 1 CD + Deck or at £34.99
for 2 CDs + Deck.

If I pre-sold these packs @ £20 per set (for 1 CD plus Deck) or £25
(for the 2 CDs plus Deck set), would that interest any of you? Would
you know of people that might be interested by this??

My plan is to take an order book. Once I have 100 names, I will send
out an invitation for people to pay the pre-sale price. As soon as I
have reached my break even point I'll get the cards commissioned,
which means that sets could be out to everyone by the end of January.

Please let me know what your reactions/thoughts are on this!

Thanks

Igor Ledochowski
